JG Hampton was born of Chickasaw, Irish and Polish ancestory in Boston, MA. Hampton lives and works in Regina, SK where she recieved a BA in visual arts from the University of Regina. Hampton is currently working at Neutral Ground Contemporary Art Forum through the Canada Council for the Arts' aboriginal curator in residence program. He also exhibits with the artist collective Turner Prize* and produces video works with various social health organizations.
